Privacy Statement and Data Collection Notice

The ENVISAGE program is a collaboration between Australian Catholic University (ACU), University of Melbourne, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Institute For Urban Indigenous Health and Canada’s McMaster University (each ‘ENVISAGE Collaborator’) to support parents raising young children with developmental concerns or disabilities. ENVISAGE provides this online learning platform to assist parents to access information, resources and learning materials and have a supported space to engage with other caregivers.

In Australia, the personal information collected and used by ENVISAGE is protected by the ACU Privacy Policy, in accordance with the laws relevant to it https://www.acu.edu.au/privacy . In Canada, this information is protected by the McMaster University Privacy Policy https://secretariat.mcmaster.ca/privacy/ .

Consent-based Collection of Information:

At different places on this learning platform, depending upon the feature you use (e.g. ENVISAGE Discussion Board or answering reflection questions), you may disclose personal information about yourself, for example your name if you make a discussion board post, or any information you write or upload within a reflection or post. You can choose to post or write as little or as much about yourself or your experience as you wish. By voluntarily writing or posting this information you are consenting to it being collected on the learning platform.

Automatic Collection of Information:

If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the learning platform or download information, the web server will automatically gather and store certain information about your visit. This information does not identify you personally and is used in an aggregated way to help improve its technology.
